Mitie awarded DWP’s security contract 

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has selected Mitie to provide the largest security workforce within the Government estate, alongside building and operating a new bespoke 24/7 Security Control Centre.
The Security Guarding contract is valued at £136 million per annum over the seven-year initial term alongside a £3 million per annum Security Control Centre contract, initially running for a term of five years. There is the option to extend both contracts for 10 years.
