Vera Ivers obituary

My aunt Vera Ivers, who has died aged 89, was a social worker in Staffordshire who specialised in mental health and gerontology. For many years she worked for the Beth Johnson Foundation, a charity in Stoke-on-Trent, where she set up a network of advocates for elderly people as well as a telephone support line.
