VW US 'emissions cheat' engineer gets jail sentence

A Volkswagen engineer has been sentenced to 40 months in a US federal prison, and two years of supervised release, for his role in a nearly 10-year conspiracy to defraud US regulators and Volkswagen customers through software implementations designed to cheat US emissions tests.
