GM aims to sell 1M EVs annually by 2026; next-gen vehicles start in 2021

GM expects its electrified vehicle business to be profitable with the launch of the next-generation EV platform in 2021 and with annual global EV sales of 1 million by 2026, CEO Mary Barra says.
