General Motors unveils the Cruise Origin, its first autonomous car

Cruise, GMs self-driving vehicle brand, has revealed its first product – an autonomous all-electric taxi called the Cruise OriginCruise, General Motors’ self-driving vehicle project, has unveiled its first fully autonomous car. Called the Origin, it’s an all-electric, four-seat pod, which the company says will form the basis of its forthcoming urban ride-hailing service.
The idea is that, instead of owning your own car, you pay for a seat on the C
