Daimler switches US Sprinter build from SKD to CKD

The launch of Daimler's 2018 Mercedes-Benz Vans Sprinter follows the opening of a much expanded assembly plant in North Charleston and a switch from semi knocked-down (SKD) to completely knocked-down (CKD) importation requiring new body and paint shops.
