Prince Andrew appears to have reached a settlement with Virginia Giuffre, on the eve of the court case, estimated to be over £10 million, without admitting much apart from regret at his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Legal experts say it would have cost him more money to avoid having to confess to meeting her which he has always denied.
