Huawei – one Meng for two Michaels
Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou, daughter of the founder, was released in Canada after a three year tug of war over financial fraud charges. She agreed she had made untrue statements that put HSBC at risk in violating U.S. sanctions on Iran, but was allowed to formally plead “not guilty”.
