Fame-hungry reality stars with criminal convictions are meat and drink to TV producers. Following Tiger King, there’s a Brit scaled-down version in Quiz, a dramatized version now airing of one of the biggest gameshow scandals in history. Charles Ingram, a former army major and his wife, were accused of cheating in Who Wants to be a Millionaire? in 2001 with a million prize at stake. They were given suspended prison sentences and subsequently went on to appear in other reality shows.
