Buddhist Walk for Peace – a catalyst for change?
A group of Buddhist monks are over halfway along a 2,300-mile Walk for Peace from Texas to Washington DC, seeking to raise awareness of “peace, loving kindness and compassion”. There are 18 monks, two of whom are following a Buddhist practice of never lying down during the three-month journey.
