David Miles obituary

My friend David Miles, who has died aged 84, was an artist who made his life in the Outer Hebrides, where he painted the human form against a backcloth of sea and sky, in watercolours and oils, exhibiting widely around Europe.David was born in London shortly before the second world war, and lived for most of the war in London with his parents, Beryl (nee Stewart) and Henry Miles, and older brother, evading the bombing.
