British Public Discover Treasure With Metal Detectors

The British Museumon Tuesday announced that 1,311 finds which are defined as treasure hadbeen found by members of the public across England, Wales and NorthernIreland in 2019. They also included an iron age drinking set, a solid gold bronze agearm ring and a coin which helps tell the story of Carausius, a usurperemperor who in 286AD broke Britain away from Europe, in an adventurewhich ended badly. – The Guardian
