Taxing Our 401k

Approximately 55 million Americans contribute tax-free to a 401(k). The Republicans in Congress looked at making this contribution taxable as a way to offset over $1 trillion+ in tax cuts under a new tax plan. It seems they believe there is no way to have tax cuts unless there are new taxes to fund tax cuts.
