Nearly 1,000 prisoners raise Covid risk after being released during pandemic without a home to go to
Nearly 1,000 offenders have been released from prisons in England and Wales during the Covid-19 pandemic without a known address to go to despite the potential risks of spreading the disease. Figures published by the Ministry of Justice snow that a total of 6,961 offenders were freed from custody between May 1 and June 8 this year.
