England to be divided into ‘medium’, ‘high’, and ‘very high’ Covid alert areas

England will be split up into “medium”, “high”, or “very high” local Covid-19 alert areas under a new three tier system.The move comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson held a telephone conferencewith Cabinet colleagues on Sunday to discuss the situation. Mr Johnson is expected to announce the move on Monday.
