PD Jet, six, was pursuing suspects linked to a a commercial burglary in Yate on Wednesday when he went onto an obscured section of a railway line and was hit by a train.The German shepherd was given emergency veterinary treatment, but his injuries were so severe it was decided that he needed to be put down.
