NYPD cop 'who shot and injured his wife's personal trainer' indicted on assault charge

NYPD Sgt Justin Ellis, 35, pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault for allegedly shooting his wife's trainer, Patrick Catania, 30, who was also arraigned on Wednesday for attempted assault.
