Hotel owner, 55, who battered wife in the head with ice axe before telling her 'I love you' is jailed for four years

Daniel Christian Holden, 55, had called his wife into a bedroom at their hotel in Keswick, Cumbria, before sitting her down on a bed and striking her three times with the axe.
