Colin Shearing conviction for gross indecency against girl, five, is quashed

Colin Shearing, 70, of West Sussex, saw his appeal against conviction upheld at Cardiff Crown Court after Lady Justice Julia Macur ruled the story was prejudicial to his original trial in April.
