Breaking self-isolation to be made illegal in England with fines up to £10,000

The new law is part of a plan to fight a second wave of intentions (Picture: EMPICS Entertainment)People in England who test positive for Covid-19 will have a ‘legal obligation’ to self-isolate from 28 September.
Anyone who breaks the rules will be liable to pay a £1,000 fine which could rise o to £10,000 for repeat offenders.
