BBC blew £350,000 of licence-fee payers' cash on unused taxis, train fares and hotel stays

The BBC spent more than £273,000 on 5,455 train tickets, £64,800 on 600 hotel rooms and £25,000 on 1,631 taxi journeys - all of which were unused by its globetrotting staff.
