Updated: Apple denies interest in launching its own network service

Update August 4: Apple has come out to a number of publications today to deny reports that it is currently working on trialling its own mobile virtual network operator (MVNO).Apple's spokespeople have said that it hasn't in fact had any discussions or plans regarding becoming an MVNO after Business Insider yesterday reported that sources in the telecommunications industry said Apple had been trialling the service in the US and were in discussions with carriers in Europe.We've reached out to Appl
