Southwest Airlines says investigating technical issues

Customers reported on Twitter that they could not check in to flights on the No.4 U.S. airline by passenger traffic. Southwest did not immediately return a request for comment. It appeared to first acknowledge the issues in a reply to a user on Twitter at 2:45 PM Eastern (18:45 GMT).
