InfluxData charts new path for time series databases

Among the announcements coming from Google NEXT this week, InfluxData and Google Cloud have entered a new partnership to host its time series database. For InfluxDB, one of the most popular open source databases, the move to Google Cloud is occurring just as the company takes another major step – or risk – in transitioning its core platform.
