Ericsson and T-Mobile attain gigabit LTE

T-Mobile has combined 256 QAM, 4x4 MIMO, carrier aggregation, and licence-assisted access (LAA) technology to attain speeds of more than 1Gbps on its LTE network in partnership with Ericsson.
