Alibaba says received U.S. SEC request for information

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Alibaba Group said on Friday it has been asked by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to provide information concerning its interaction with a Chinese regulator. It said in a statement it was cooperating with the SEC's request. Alibaba did not give details about what the SEC specifically wanted. (Reporting by Noel Randewich)
