Middlesbrough target Aston Villa striker Rudy Gestede as cover for Alvaro Negredo

Aitor Karanka wants cover for Alvaro Negredo and is willing to offload Jordan Rhodes and David Nugent. Villa are interested in Rhodes but are not willing to pay Boro's £11m asking price.
