Inglese strikes late for Chievo to defeat Lazio

A last-gasp Roberto Inglese goal allowed Chievo Verona to snap a four-match losing streak in Serie A with a surprise 1-0 win at Lazio on Saturday. After surviving a first-half onslaught from Simone Inzaghi's side, Inglese scrappily converted Massimo Gobbi's layoff in a rare counter attack which gave Chievo all three points and moved them three places up the table. While Lazio remained fourth with 40 points, eight behind leaders Juventus, Chievo are now 10th with 28 points.
