AP source: Aldon Smith makes reinstatement case to Goodell

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — Suspended Oakland Raiders pass rusher Aldon Smith met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Friday in hopes of being reinstated from his substance-abuse ban.
