Weird, water-oozing material could help quench thirst

(DOE/Pacific Northwest National Laboratory) Nanorods created by PNNL researchers have an unusual property -- spontaneously emitting water. After further development, the nanorods could be used for water harvesting and purification, or sweat-gathering fabric.
