Wastewater treatment plants not responsible for spreading antimicrobial resistance

(Technical University of Denmark) New research challenges the common perception that bacteria develop antimicrobial resistance in wastewater treatment plants. The findings have recently been published in the recognized scientific journal Nature Communications.
