University of Kentucky physicist discovers new 2-D material that could upstage graphene

(University of Kentucky) UK's Madhu Menon and collaborators have discovered a new material that could advance digital technology and open a new frontier in 2-D materials beyond graphene. Truly flat and extremely stable, the material is made up of light, inexpensive and earth abundant elements.
