Tim Peake Begins 'Ballistic' Descent To Earth
Tim Peake has ended his historic mission aboard the International Space Station by scrambling into a Soyuz capsule with two other crewmates to complete his trip back to Earth. Closing the hatch between the station and the spacecraft at precisely 3.34am marked the official end of ISS Expedition 47 and Major Peake's Principia mission. Shortly afterwards, the capsule undocked from from the ISS and began the journey back to Earth, a trip that will take just a few hours.
