Study examines Teach For America's impact on costs, hiring at 5 school systems

(University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) Study finds that five major school systems spent millions in finder's fees hiring Teach for America recruits. The authors, who reviewed TFA's contracts and other documentation, state that TFA corps members are privileged in schools' hiring and rehiring decisions.
