Rosetta Comet Probe Bounces Back from Glitch

"We lost contact with the spacecraft on Saturday for nearly 24 hours," Patrick Martin, ESA's Rosetta mission manager, said in an update. The team eventually managed to reconnect with Rosetta, stabilize the spacecraft and get its science instruments back up and running. "It was an extremely dramatic weekend," Sylvain Lodiot, ESA's Rosetta spacecraft operations manager, said in the same update.
