Man In Court Over Scientist's Beheading

A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a woman was found beheaded. The woman, who is in her 30s and has been named as scientist Samantha Ho, was discovered at a house in Cambridgeshire after armed officers were called. Timothy Allen, 40, of Curlew Place, St Neots, appeared at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, where he was remanded in custody to appear via video link at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday.
