Just In Time for Christmas: Russian Cargo Ship Makes Space Station Delivery

A robotic Russian cargo ship made it to the International Space Station just in time for Christmas. The six astronauts currently living aboard the space station will soon begin unloading the 2.8 tons (2.5 metric tons) of supplies that Progress 62 carried to space. The cargo ship will remain attached to the orbiting lab for about six months, and then will be loaded up with trash and sent off to burn up in Earth's atmosphere.
