India to Join Hunt for Gravitational Waves

India is on track to join the international effort to find ripples in the fabric of space-time. The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) made history on Feb. 11, when scientists with the project announced the first direct detection of gravitational waves, or ripples in the fabric of space.
