Frozen Canyons Of Pluto's North Pole Revealed
A detailed new image of Pluto's mysterious yellow north pole has been revealed. The image reveals the frozen terrain's strange yellow hue and vast canyons up to 45 miles wide. The enhanced colour image was released by NASA and shows part of Pluto known as the Lowell Regio - named after Percival Lowell whose observatory led to Pluto's discovery.
