Britons Should Take Vitamin D In Winter Months
Britons should consider taking vitamin D supplements in autumn and winter, according to Public Health England. Vitamin D is also found in foods, such as oily fish, red meat, liver and egg yolk. Dr Louis Levy, head of nutrition and science at PHE, said that a healthy diet and "short bursts" of sunshine would give most people all of the vitamin D they need in spring and summer.
