Asteroid-Analysing Spacecraft Due To Launch From Cape Canaveral

An ambitious mission to collect dust from an asteroid and return it to Earth for scientific analysis is just hours away from launch. NASA's Osiris-REx spacecraft is due to blast off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, in the early hours of Friday morning (UK time). It will take 23 months to reach the 500 metre-wide asteroid, Bennu.
