8 Months on 'Mars'! Mock Space Mission to Launch in Hawaii

This will be the fifth mock Mars mission for the Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS), which is funded by NASA. You can see photos of what a HI-SEAS Mars mission is like here. The HI-SEAS Mission V will kick off in Hawaii at approximately 3:30 p.m. local time on Jan. 19 (0130 GMT on Jan. 20).
