UK boffin bait lands 18 international researchers
Britain's much-heralded scheme to attract top scientific talent has managed to attract a total of 18 takers, the government has admitted. The Global Talent visa program was launched last summer following announcements from the EU and France that they intended to tempt scientists unhappy with their lot in Trump's America and elsewhere.
