Two minerals never before seen on Earth are discovered in a 14-ton meteorite that crashed in Africa

The two newly discovered minerals have been named elaliite and elkinstantonite, and were found in a a single two-ounce slice of the 14-ton meteorite that crashed landed in Africa in 2020.
