Tech giants insist to MPs they are 'dedicated' to stopping crime

Facebook told a select committee today that keeping users safe is its "number one priority”. 
The company was questioned alongside representatives from Google and Twitter as part of the Home Affairs select committee inquiry into counter-terrorism, and highlighted the processes put into place to ensure terrorism does not thrive on their platforms.
