Solar eclipse: Satellite captures the moon's shadow passing over the Earth

Views of the shadow cast over Earth in yesterday's partial solar eclipse are available from the unique vantage point of 22,000 miles (36,000 km) above our planet, thanks to the three Meteosat satellites.
