Red sky at night, astronaut's delight: Three solar storms crash into Earth's atmosphere

The red aurora caused by the phenomenon should be visible tonight from Europe and North America - as long as the skies are cloudless. The force of the storm has been labelled G4 - meaning 'severe'.
