Planet almost identical to Jupiter is spotted orbiting a star 17,000 light years away

The exoplanet is almost identical to Jupiter in terms of its mass and distance from its star, which is 60 per cent the mass of our sun, reports scientists at Jodrell Bank Centre in Manchester.
