Paralysis breakthrough as three paraplegics WALK again after being fitted with an electronic implant

Researchers from The Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, found that electrically stimulating paralysed patients' spinal cords helped them control their legs in just a week.
