Pandas have been eating bamboo for six MILLION years, using a thumb-like 'sixth digit' to grip it

Experts at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles found a thumb-like digit in fossils of ancient pandas, suggesting the bears have been eating bamboo for at least six million years.
